Nicole Guyhart | Fréteval | France | 1948-2021
Nicole Guyhart lived and worked in France as a painter and teacher. She has exhibited internationally since 1974. In 1999, she became a member of the Committee for Salon d’Automne where she was responsible for the group of geometric abstraction. Guyhart is a cofounder of the group ART Construit International. She exhibits regularly with the MADI movement of Italy and Venezuela.
Her work can be seen in several prominent museum collections around the world including the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the Carnegie Institute in Pennsylvania, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid.
